How far out should I make a reservation?
We recommend making reservations as soon as you know you want to come on a cruise. Popular cruises sell-out quite often so make your reservation early. Additionally, we use our reservation numbers in order to make our decisions about canceling cruises. We have to have a minimum number of passengers for a cruise to sail, so your early reservations can make a big difference.
Does the Boat sail in inclement weather?
We sail rain or shine. In the event of severe weather or dangerous river conditions, it is up to the captain of the boat to make the sailing decision. If a situation exists where we are unable to sail, we will remain dockside for the event.
Do you have a dress code?
We do not have a dress code. Our passengers dress in everything from casual to formal. We encourage everyone to dress for the occasion you are celebrating.
Are you handicapped accessible?
Yes we are handicapped accessible. We have ramps from the parking lot to the first deck of our boat. All services including restrooms are accessible on the first deck.
Where will we go on our cruise?
It all depends on the length of your cruise. A typical lunch or dinner cruise will go 5-7 miles up river or down river and back to the dock. All of our cruises provide the best possible viewing of the Twin City skyline.
Is smoking allowed on the boat?
Yes, smoking is allowed, but only on the outside decks. No smoking is allowed anywhere on the interior cabins of the boat.
Are drinks included with a dining cruise?
Coffee, ice tea, and water are included with all dining cruises. A cash bar is available on all cruises for the purchase of soft drinks, beer, wine, and mixed drinks.
Are decorations allowed on the boat?
Yes on Deck or Boat Charters only! All decorations must be cleared prior to the cruise with the Cruise Director. We will always try to accommodate your requests for decorations as best we can when Coast Guard Regulations allow, however a few items not permitted on board are as follows:
- No taping decorations to any wall surface.
- No confetti, glitter, rice or birdseed anywhere on the boat or ramps entering the boat.
- No blocking of stairwells, main entrances or doors.
- Loose extension cords, microphone cords or speaker wires in public pathways. Loose wires must be taped securely to the floor.
- No open flames.
Are Wedding or Birthday cakes allowed on the boat?
Yes, for groups of 20 or more. Cakes must be approved by the Cruise Director prior to the cruise and is subject to a Cake service fee. Please ask your event sales person when you book the event.
Are Gratuities and Tips included in our ticket price?
No, on all public cruise tickets.
Yes, they are included on groups of 20 or more.
Where do we park?
We have free parking at our dock on Riverfront Park Drive.
Do you offer discounts or coupons?
The best way to receive special deals and discounts is to become a member of Club AQ, be a fan on Facebook or follow us on Twitter. We send special deals and discounts specifically to these groups and to our Club members. We do offer coupons from time to time in local print publications as well, but your best offers will come as a member of Club AQ.
What are your office hours?
Our office is open Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm year around. Hours are extended on Cruise Days from 9:00am to 7:00pm. Basically, if we have a public cruise scheduled our office will be open.
